These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in 986 AI Academy (the "Program"), a free, project-based AI program offered to the children of the 986 Pharmacy family. The Program is offered by Future Hope Outreach Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 92-3620406), together with 986 Pharmacy. By signing your child up, you (the parent or legal guardian) agree to these Terms on your and your child's behalf.
986 AI Academy is offered free of charge. It consists of six 2-hour, project-based sessions held on weekends. Session content, schedule, and availability may change, and participation is subject to available space.
The Program is intended for children of the 986 Pharmacy family. A parent or legal guardian must complete the sign-up and consent to participation.
The sign-up form includes an optional consent for photos and video of your child to be taken during the Program and posted on the Future Hope Outreach Foundation and 986 Pharmacy websites. Granting it is voluntary and is not required to participate. See our Privacy Policy for how media is used and how to withdraw consent.
We want a welcoming, safe space for every student. Participants are expected to be respectful, follow instructor guidance, and use technology responsibly. We may remove a participant whose conduct disrupts the Program or the safety of others.
Projects your child creates are theirs to keep. Note that work produced with AI tools may be subject to those tools' terms of use, and purely AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright — we teach students about this as part of the Program.
The Program is provided "as is," free of charge, for educational purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Future Hope Outreach Foundation, 986 Pharmacy, and their organizers are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from participation. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update the Program or these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued participation after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
